It wasn't so much the septic cost, it was just mismanaged. The owners would rather drink in the bar than run the place. There were a few morning when the ramp was full for tournaments and the restaurant was locked up tight. If it were mine I would have been peddling bfast burritos out of that place to help the cash flow. They just didn't want to do anything except sing karaoke and drink. They pocketed 6-8 full year leases and shagged azz. Karma will get em one of these days.

weird folks working in there... I couldn't even get them to tell me how much a yearly launch fee was before I started just using the one in Paradise. Some girl in there with the tats and her crying baby and some other teenaged-early 20's kid in there... It seemed to be closed half the time I went up there to pay my money to launch.

A few fishing partners of mine actually cheated on their wives courtesy of the fishermans cove. The billiards room always provided the romantic touch for the ladies.

They said that they were letting it go back to the bank, so I would say yes.

This is just another sign that the whole lake is in decline...Business's are suffering all around the lake. Lake Fork will never be what it used to be...Many fisherman are going elsewhere for bass, sad to say I am too.

Tracy lee, with all the money you have and all the aluminum cans I generate, we could make a run at it, you handle the morning crowd and I will over see the karaoke operation. Just throwing it out there, smile

In all seriousness, I hope it gets worked out for you guys up there. Karma will catch up with them one day, it always does.

I've never been on a busier lake than Lake Fork..... fishermen, not ski boats.

This has been our best year ever. We are going to be opening another lodge soon.

Cool Cam! Where will it be located? I always thought it would be better to host the bigger tournaments out of two marinas on different ends of the lake. Could this be a possibility?
