Also love the guys who tie up to the courtesy dock, often letting one side drift across the ramp to weigh in. Put the boat on the trailer and drive them up or beach it.

It's just like those idiots that think they are cool by mounting flashlights on front of their guns. Aim for the light. On second thought,I guess that would not be too good at a boat ramp though.

Pardon me,but I always thought "turning off one's headlights while unloading/loading in the dark was S.O.P."

So all these folks that claim that for years they did not know any better never had a problem backing down a ramp with headlights shinning in their eyes? Seems to me the most obvious thought would be "if those lights were turned off, I could see how to back my trailer down the ramp". Maybe even carry over to thinking, next time I will make sure mine are off.

What a jack a$$. You should have told him you would if he'd asked nicely and then turned on your high beams. People really need to learn some manners.

It sucks if you have DRL. I have turn off lights and put it in park to turn off my lights. As soon as its in gear they come back on. I know it sucks but for some we can't turn them off on the ramp. +1! Good point!
