We caught this one this morning. Also caught a smaller A-gar and two needles in the 3'+ range.

Yes sir, nice job.You got yourself a sweet spot there. How are you fishing? Out of a boat or surf pole from the bank? The water edge looks pretty grown up.Must be nice! Our rivers have sand bars and low.Nice job!

Thanks Everyone. I fish from the bank. I use Penn 6/0 reels with 85# braid and a steel #100 leader.I have 3 different rods between 5'6" & 7'. It's a fairly deep portion of the river but the banks are pretty steep. We have managed to land several fish between 5&6 feet long in this same spot over the last couple of years.
