We caught this one this morning. Also caught a smaller A-gar and two needles in the 3'+ range.

Yes sir, nice job.You got yourself a sweet spot there. How are you fishing? Out of a boat or surf pole from the bank? The water edge looks pretty grown up.Must be nice! Our rivers have sand bars and low.Nice job!

Our rivers have sand bars and low.Nice job! Thanks Everyone. I fish from the bank. I use Penn 6/0 reels with 85# braid and a steel #100 leader.I have 3 different rods between 5'6" & 7'. It's a fairly deep portion of the river but the banks are pretty steep. We have managed to land several fish between 5&6 feet long in this same spot over the last couple of years.
