You're lucky you weren't arrested. I wonder what your reaction would have been if a game warden would have "accidentally" slapped you in the face a few times?? What?

You're lucky you weren't arrested. I wonder what your reaction would have been if a game warden would have "accidentally" slapped you in the face a few times?? What? Technically striking him with a rod tip could be reason for an arrest for assault. All a law enforcement officer needs is a reason to arrest someone, it's up to a prosecutor to prove the intent and if it was maliciously done. Not saying it's right , but it can be done.

I keep coming back to this thread. It is hilarious. I am reminded about the joke where the guy is pulled over by a state trooper for speeding and the guy ends up telling him what he thinks about him. I can't post the real joke here but shoot me a PM if you want to hear it and you don't know it.

I nearly shot an Illinois GW with my fire extinguisher. He claimed that the hinge was seized up and he couldn't get it work. As he proceeded to write me up, I figured I'd better work on loosening up the hinge to avoid the $300 ticket. Shot a 20' stream within a foot his face. Ticked off by not being able to write up an Indiana boy, the SOB decided to write me a warning for not having battery terminal covers instead (my buddy apparently got a $300 ticket earlier that month for this). I just regret not having better aim with the extinguisher.  Hahaha, I can only imagine the look on his face. He probably had to change undies after that one.

Never ask them "who's paying for the damage you just did to my boat" when they run up on you way too hot to do anything other then ram you.

Night fishing on Fork, buddy says: take down that back light if you want to.
Me: nah, I'm good would hate for you to get a ticket.
Buddy: lived and fished this lake at night for 15 years never seen a game warden after dark.
Me: with my luck tonight will be the first time
Buddy: take it down If we get checked my fault
Me: ok
(30. Mins later)
GW: you guys have a back light?
GW: you know your registration is out?
Buddy: I know my extinguisher is here somewhere, gets nervous
GW: now don't get all ancy
Me: told you so
GW leaves, buddy says gonna have to go before the judge next week with my baby daughter and pinch her so she cries real loud.

And then act like nothing happened... well thanks to the good folks of the Brazos River Basin for paying to have the gash fixed on my boat. I couldn't show my face on PK for a few months but then Jones got move to another lake. Only took 20 something phone calls and getting the JP on my side to get them to admit these lake "Gods" can do wrong.

It's a shame it took that many calls. If you would've damaged his boat they would've been all over you and your insurance instantly.
