Skip, that is a thump buddy on that road runner head...note the color...it was responsible for some fish yesterday....we caught three or four dinks to every keeper yesterday....that color (timber rattler?) and the white hot produced well till they quit them...then the go-go minnows started producing...basically, we had to change up some to get bit consistently....some colors just would not work...at all...those three DID catch fish...all afternoon....straight jig head produced better than the roadrunner though...I used one of those green/white Bonehead jigs with suprisingly good results...out fished my favorite minnow head jig....may have to get a stock of those heads....Oh, and I tried out the Green 20 lb Bonehead braid tied straight to the jig...no problems catching fish with it and it had really good feel....Just as good (possibly better) as I have come to expect with the Power Pro. I will try them side by side at the same time before long....this was just a first test run on the Bonehead braid.

Nice report there crapicat. But u failed to post the exact coordinates of this ketch u speak of. What's the deal with that bro? stir rolfmao

and the coordinates of todays big fish are ...
H20 longitude
H20 latitude

You are right the fish are all over the map! I know they are there on my sonar... But getting them to bite.. Thats a whole nother' story. Hit 2 lakes today and no Luck. Best fish was 12" and then nothing but dinks. And not a whole lot of those either. And the depth like you said varies big time. 6 to 18 feet is what i have caught them in and some a turn or 2 off the bottom. Crazy stuff!
