Went back out this morning for awhile to check some more spots that I've marked. Some held crappie, some had spotted bass & others had no one home. Baits that worked today was the little mello yellow slab bandit & Jigum's greasebath. I didn't stay in any one spot long, as Jigum is coming to fish tomorrow & I didn't want to wear out a spot. Ended up with 5 crappie, 5 spotted bass & a sandbass.

I really like those pro-angler rods! Mite have to get me one of them 7 footers. Do they make em in one piece models?

Mine are 8' and two piece. I doesn't matter that they are 2 pc, as they are sensitive & STRONG!

I'll take that "Rookie" comment in stride - rolfmao
As long as I can swing fish over the side of the boat, I'm surprised you didn't have anything to say about my net.....maybe your getting old hmmm rolfmao frkazoid

KEEP IN MIND, I am fairly smart tooo...SO, I figure anyone that is trying to DETERMINE the best way "MOUNT" the NET for CONVENIENCE/READINESS is gonna USE the sucker CONSTANTLY, braid or no braid...HMMM, that gives me an idea, maybe we should start a NO NET, BRAID ONLY working mans crappie tournament...If you get caught using a leader or a net you are disqualified and have to go SIT on the ROCKS at the dam for 2 hours....

A mini boat workin' mans tournament

Tbox,

1. Nice boat.
2. Nice graph
2. Nice fish

I believe that when I finally spend more than $200 on a graph I'll get a Lowrance. Also, those look like some comfortable chairs you've got there.

Looks like a good day or two. Congrats on the catch!

I have been trying Power Pro 8 Super Slick and really like it a lot. What kind of braiid were you using?
