I am sure you have heard good and bad about the red line. What do you all think. I think it would be good to here results from people that actually use it.

No. Fad.

Cajun line is the worst thing ever made next to vanish. However one day at Tawokoni me and my fishing buddy were throwing the same frog set up except I had red braid and I caught 4 to his one fish from the back of the boat. Don't know if it was the line or just the exact cast, but that was our only difference,and that was only once in a lifetime.

Just put some fishing line on your reel and go fishing. I have caught and not caught fish on red, yellow, green, orange and clear fishing line.

If bass are stupid enough to hit an A-rig, with all of its bright shiny wire, then they will hit any color mono.

The selling point is that red is the first color to disappear under water BUT that is not true. Red is the first color to LOSE its color, but what it does is turn black, not disappear.

My grandpa uses only purple fire tail worms and red cajun line. He ALWAYS catches fish. Including a 13 pounder at Ivie. I don't use it, but I've seen it work plenty.

I have stood in the fishing aisle before and seen on one rack a sign that said, "Red Fishing Line Disappears underwater." Then turned around, and saw another sign next to the hooks that said, "Red hooks attract fish because they see red!".

I used red power pro. Re-spooled with green using the same technique and green out fished red by far.

People always talk about line color bass fishing. Offshore(saltwater) the water is gin clear and most people use hi vis green line. Never had a fish not eat a bait because of it...
