Louisiana Fish Fry Products. ... Crispy... It comes in a blue box & u can get it at Walmart. I cut it w/ a lil cornmeal cause it can be a lil salty. I like to keep it simple w / crappie cause they are so fine!!! My favorite change up is Louisiana hot sauce & mustard then ur favorite batter.. Soak filets in the hot sauce & mustard for 15 mins ir longer... Batter... & fry

5 LBS yellow corn meal, 8OZ salt, 1 package spicy hot fish fry mix, and your ready to cook fish for the year, just mix it up and put it in the freezer.

They now sell the hooters batter at Walmart it's pretty good or Louisiana country crispy

I repeat - yellow corn meal and salt. Fry in 375-390 oil. Can't be beat. I don't get credit for much but am known for my fried fish.

1 12oz beer, flat
2 cups all purpose flour
salt
pepper
garlic powder

3/4 yellow corn meal 1/4 cup flour,roll each piece,and salt and pepper each piece.

1 Cup Cornmeal
2 Cups Bis-Quick (makes it like LongJohns)
1 Tbl Garlic
1 Tbl Pepper or Cayenne (smoked paprika is good) as well
1 Tbl Salt
