but there is a CON

once you get to the point where your health is better fishing sitting rather than standing for 8+ hours a day that recessed controller is a pain in the....

You have to bend your foot forward and downward in an unusual postion.

I actually filled mine in. I sit on a power pole like everyone else but most of the time I have it in the down position.

These 70 years old legs and knees appreciate not having to stand all day long.

I think it depends on your height (leg length), and how you adjust the pedestal (butt) seat. I am about 5'10"and my inseam is about 30" I wish I had installed it right up to the front console (depth finder). MIne is about 4" back. Try other people's setup before you cut. I am still very satisfied, though!

15. Signature images may not be larger than 600 pixels wide by 125 pixels tall. This includes logos, photos and other graphics. Also, no more than one row of images are allowed. If you want four or five logos in your signature, reduce their size to fit in one row.

Not sure where you live, but I've got one I'll make you a sweet deal on. I live just outside of Houston.

They are easy to install and they do make it better on your back.
If you are putting it on a Champion, BE CAREFUL where you put it. Those boats have support beam under the deck that runs from one side to the other and they are about 2X8 and they run about 1/2 way between the seat and the bow.

I had similar issues when I first installed mine, but you can turn the head on your trolling motor in the mount and adjust the level/angle of the footpedal when motor is straight ahead.

Why would you want to stand all day holding one leg up in the air? Install it!
