What are looking to use it for? I would have to say the Duckett crankbait rods are better than the Cara's. I have both and the 7'6 mh is great for med-deep cranks with a low geared reel. If you are looking for a worm/jig rod I would look at the Cara.

Guys here talk about how great Dobson and Ducketts are and how great the warranty is.
"I set the hook and broke the rod but they replaced it, no questions"
To be fair, I've never owned either, but I've owned lots of Falcons. I sent one back maybe 15 years ago. Other than that, I've never broken another one.

I do agree about the duckett as far as the feel for the cranking rod and love the rods but it is also one that I had the inserts come out on. I loved my CARA's until somebody else decided they loved them more and stole them out of my car one night. Has nobody else on here had the issues with the eylet inserts falling out of the Ducketts? I have spoken with several other people that have had the same issues but it seems that there are a lot of guys that suggest them on here so I was just curious. Like I said I love the rods but hate the issues I have had with them.

Falcon Rods are too flimsy. A heavy action falcon is the equivalent to a Medium action in other brands.

The duckett actions are a little soft to me. Their H feels like a MH to me. Rod socks don't seem to work well with the duckett that I have, the guides pop through easily and they come off way too easy. As Bass&more said not
