Went today, caught some small sand bass and a small hybrid (under). Switched to a larger fluke setup and caught a good size hybrid and while reeling it in another larger hybrid decided to swim next to it and just watch which was pretty cool to see. All fish C&R Nice! Where was this at?

Fish on! Caught these yellow bass early Today. Easy limit, less then an hour, gave away two. They are all about the same size.   The fish you caught are Hybrid Stripe Bass...Not yellow bass It's supposed to be a joke when I said the fish are yellow bass.

Again, limit hybrids Today for less than an hour. Man! whenever I see the shad, hybrids are on fire! So easy to get limit and all of them are 23" and up. After got limit and start fishing C&R, my arms are getting sore. I was so tired, did not get pictures Today.

Everyone were catching hybrid at the bike trail. I got three today with live shad. All fish were over 20 inches.

New to this site and been hearing about this RC i am a bass chaser but i never had the opportunity to catch sand bass so can anybody tell me the best way to get to this RC i live in arlington off of 360&AveJ

There are several popular entry points to Rowlett Creek. Route 66, Firewheel Pkwy, Bike Park, Miller Road. And let's not forget the gun range.Best thing a new guy can do is back up and read the whole thread. Still gonna take time to catch on.

Didn't catch any fish today. All the fish have returned to the lake LOL I am going to use this excuse as well....
