Well, today- I decided to see if I could pull something out of the creek this morning. Got there at nine am. Nothing upstream. went almost all the way to the lake mouth. About noon I found a couple in a deep hole about 12 feet down. Caught 11 sandies- 7 keepers, (1) 3 lb LMB, 6 crappie-to small, and a bowfin. Lots of yellows...........

All fish caught on my jig rig. As you can tell,by the link above, I was in my float tube.

I will be guiding again this year. $120 for up to 2 people half day, starting febuary 5th. ( Fish guaranteed or dont pay!! ) Private message me for booking a trip or additional questions.

Nice Day! Don't know why more folks don't go after yellows on ultralight tackle. I get into them sometimes with my lightweight rods and its non-stop hooting and hollering.

Weather- windy but no chop on water where i was.

Report: caught 5 males and 2 females (sandies). All under 12 inches. Lots of crappie today hugging timber 4-6 ft down. i took home 6 but caught about 15-20. when i started catching crappie i got distracted from locating sandies. But we all know that our favorite fish to catch are the ones bitting..........
