Don Juans in Hughes Springs
Rancho Viejo in Buffalo

Not going to say that either is the best in Texas, but if you are passing through either place and in need of an Enchilada Fix, you could a lot worse. The Stuffed avocado at Rancho Viejo is GREATNESS!!!

I have not been to Joe T's in years and I don't ever plan on going back. It's all hype and not that great. Tres Hermanos is a lot better than Joe T's. Heck, even El Jardin is better than Joe T's (read my review several posts up). Joe T's is better than Taco Bell, however.

Little Mexico in Palestine. It's been around forever and has always been on top of my list.

This is the best. This is not a Tex-Mex joint it is food from the interior of Mexico, the state of Hidalgo. Everything is fresh & wonderful, especially the Tacos El Pastor. They cook over open, wood fired pits. The cabrito is the real deal. Try it out you will have a great time. You have to speak a bit of spanish, but the waitress will help you through the menu. Be sure to order tortilias. They are made & cooked to order.

Or Posado's in Tyler, Lindale, or Jacksonville since they are owned by partners.

Their fajitas may be the best and MOST EXPENSIVE fajitas in our galaxy. They are great, but I don't think I have ever had more expensive fajitas anywhere.

That's real close to our Shreveport Operations office. Next time I am up there I will have to give them a try. Hopefully someone in sales will want to take us. They are super proud of them. They better be spectacular.
