I caught three Sandbass and seven yellows this morning on my inline Green Spinner. I was at the red pipe. I watched shad 2" run north For well over an hour Without a break in their ranks it was cool. I'm surprised that the fish bit my lure.
Ain't nothin better than watching a fish stretch my line.

Im still up from yesterday, cant sleep. Changing diapers, getting pissed on, feeding and burping every 2 hours. Should I just take my 8 day old infant to the creek and fish?

Should I still use minnows if I plan to hit the creek at night?

Nah, a few fish is not worth all the trouble... Minnows should work but get large minnow because you might get lucky and hook a hybrid.

Hybrids were everywhere early this morning. Me and my friend got our limits on hybrids less than an hour with two over 22", one 23", one 25.5" and the biggest one was at 27" mark. Almost as big as the two years old boy. And of course it is from RC but certainly not from HH. Caught and released a bunch of 17",18",19" with one fish still had a hook in its mouth. Live shads were the key. Crazy fun!

Also in the creek. They will hit anything from dead shads to minnows. You guys need to find the new locations. Hint, from HH go South.
