I dont think this country will ever see 2 dollar whatever gas again....at least not for any extended time. In fact I think by 2016 we'll be paying 5-6 a gallon and dreaming of 3.50 cent gas. EPA and regulations and not to mention the government just keep on causing prices to go up. If we drill baby drill all over the pace....theyre not going to let us have low gas prices.

Just my opinion....

and yes....I remember less than a dollar a gallon gas.

when I started driving gas wars would get the price down to 11 or 12 cents a gal.
my first car (62 ford falcon 6 banger)with a 2 speed auto. if I had 5.00 on sat night I could put plenty of gas in the car, buy 2 cheeseburgers/fries/coke at mickey d's, pay for a date at the drive in and some popcorn. went home broke but had a good time and gas in the car for school.

Since Obama took office gas has went up BIG TIME! I can remember gas being 0.18 a gal in 1966. Gas use to go up 0.01 cents in a week or two. Now goes up 0.15 or 0.20 cents in one night!
