How can gas in Mineola be in the $3.25 range for Reg. and $3.40 range for Mid-grade? And, every where else it is .20 - .30 cents higher, except for some of the area places around it? Grand Saline, Sulphur Springs, etc. Price gouging?

Could be they have old gas and are trying to get rid of it maybe ? But I liked at the beginning of the year gas was at $2.99 a gallon out here.

Don't forget to save your reciepts and file for the fuel taxes. Just got my check back form the state. Helps defer some of the anguish.

Mineola and lindale both have the best prices around. I live in Tyler and when i head to Fork i get gas at either place. Its always 5-10 cents cheaper there.

I heard on the radio that oil co. research just what the market will bear in each area.I think prices in Ok. are normally a little lees than the metromess. Pretty nice, huh? Obama doing a great job for the middle east and not letting us drill here! But I am not opionated.

They buy 10,000 gallons at a time (truck load), the distributor sets the price at delivery. Prices fluciate daily from the distributor and the refinery....the station makes maybe .10 cents a gallon.
Price gallging happens when the station tries to sell old gas in the ground for higher profits than the price of delivery. The State of Texas is suposed to regulate this with fear? It really comes down to the price from the distributor. Atleast this is how it was when I owned a gas station 12 years ago.

Every time I am out that way I always fill up. It would be nice if I actually lived in that area and didn't have to pay $3.59 a gallon.

Funny.....it was .99 cents when I was buying it for .89 cents from Clarksville Oil and Gas. Think about that? 50 gallons in the boat for $50.00 bucks. Unbelievable these days...it takes $170.00 to fill it up now!
