Hit the creek last night, parked in the bike trail lot. Cool weather, rain.... still caught fish, just not many. Managed 5 fish, lost one, in a couple hours. Water was pretty clear despite the rains. All fish were right at keeper size males. Bring on the warm weather.

Hell yeah I was. 6:45 so I can see the sun come up. It was so cold that ice was forming on my rod as I was reelin it in. I went to the 66 Bridge just to see what all the hype was about. I caught two on a two inch little fishy. The man next to me caught 15 of them on 2" white w/chrome glitter flukes. I took my fish home and ate them for brunch. I then went to bass pro shop and got what the guy next to me had which was tiny flukes with orange heads. While at Bass Pro shops I met a man that I always see finishing rowlett creek and he told me that the red pipe over behind Springfield Park was producing and paying like it weighs and that i should visit there. So I went. I only caught a few more but the fish I saw being caught was ridiculous. Plenty of fish to be had in rowlett creek.
Ain't nothin better than watching a fish stretch my line.

That sounds good, everytime I go over to bps I always end up with extra stuff that I didn't really need... They say money talks and all I ever heard from mine was goodbye... -_-

If all above don't work, a stick of dynamite works really good, just make sure it goes boom underwater, lol

Very interesting day for sure and its not over yet! Went down stream to a new spot I hadnt been to yet. Fished the bank as I walked down stream. Nothing. Saw people fishing. Nothing. Decided to head home. When I was almost to my truck someone id fished with was parking. He said he did good yesterday and that there were fish in there. Followed him back just past were I was to a single little hole under a tree. I could see fish every ware. It was crazy! He out fished me 10 2 1 on plastics with me using minnows. It almost became comical. He watched me hook set them, hook them and bring them to bank ect. I was cursed today! So he leaves and I scoot over 2 ft. And start catching them were he was casting. I thought this was the hightlight of my day but it wasnt even close. He taught me a lot and it was a great learning expeirience however this isnt the end. 5 min after he left I had landed a few and thought id be there for the day when I got a call from someone down stream Id met less than a week ago. He said "come quick and bring your glasses. I see hybrids!" so I packed it up and was gone like a jack rabbit. Got to his spot and walked up and what did I see?!!?.... Only several hundered Hybrids! NO JOKE! He could only see the ones on top. I gave him my glasses and he was shocked. They are there right now staging for the feeding frenzy befoee the move up stream! They wouldnt hit anything! You can see every thing from them spooking when the lure/minnow hits to it dragging across their backs. I left to pick my sons up but got more minnows and will be back there in a few. If they are gone I will be making a mad dash up stream looking for them. From what I saw the hour I watched them they arent going anyware untill dark.
Look up " Aquaponics! The self sustained revolution." on Face Book and like the page to learn how to use fish to grow anything at 4 times the rate with 90% less water than normal agriculture while eliminating all chemicals and producing fertilizer for in ground plants.

That sounds like the RC I know. The fish are certainly there but they don't always bite what you throw at them. Cracking the code sometimes takes alot of trial and error to find out what the want.
