I was running WOT on Texoma a few years ago, was rounding a main lake point and came across the dreaded cruiser boat wakes, my boat went air born and since I was turning it came down at a bad angle, almost through my Dad out of the boat, scared the [censored] out of me, my Dad never got in a boat with me again. The guy that crashed the boat has way to big a set to do what he did.

I knew there was a reason I like to slow down crossing boat wakes.

If the spot you're trying to get to is five miles away you'll get there 43 seconds earlier at 70 mph than at 60. If it's tournament blastoff and you're trying to outrun a few other boats to that honey hole where all the 8 pounders are I can see how that 43 seconds could be pretty important. Other than that...not so much.

If you're only going two miles, that 43 seconds becomes 17...and so forth.

Then again I don't have to worry about those seconds because my boat won't do 70...

The truth is this was probably a random failed act of mother nature to eliminate some "ignorant genes" from the world's gene pool.

Inexpierence..............Shouldn't have been crossing the wake at that speed and especially not trimmed up that high. At the very least he should have backed out the moment it bobbled. Glad he lived and I'm sure he learned something that day.

I'd say he sure has some good friends there on the camera boat.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I know a man who actually did this, well he held a started saw between his legs to light a smoke, somehow triggered the gas and pretty much cut his junk off,if someone had not of been there he likely would have died, I have been told that everything was reattached, sorry to get off topic.

You apparently don't know what chinewalk is. That boat wasn't chine walking.
