That was a very large boat's wake. He was going too fast when he tried to cross it. It has a Merc Pro Max motor on it. That is a pretty fast boat.....

Prop bite on re-entry had no bearing on the crash. Once the boat went airborne there was absolutely nothing he could have done to save it.

In the slow motion video the boat is pretty straight until the prop touches the water, and it makes a 90 degree turn before the hull touches water. Which is why he landed sideways. But I could be wrong. He definitely did something stupid I hope I never do again.

Momentum was already going that direction. When the back right corner hit the water it kicked the rear of the boat up and around causing the back of the boat to pass the front. At least that is how I see it.

I know nothing about going 70 mph on the water but I do know a little about flying in the air. At those speeds with any extra side or headwinds from a gust you're asking for trouble. The video does look like there was some wind on the lake.

He's trimmed to high at WOT and has a bad case of the chinewalks. Kinda looks like a triton.

the video says that "Greg's Life Vest and kill switch SAVED HIS LIFE.", but in reality it was Greg's inability to make sound decisions while on the water that almost killed him.

The truth is this was probably a random failed act of mother nature to eliminate some "ignorant genes" from the world's gene pool.

this person is an idiot and should not be let out on the water, the boat could have gone the other way and actually crashed into the other boat, if the crash didnt knock some sense into him someone needs to. people care about no one but them selves now a days, because he could have very easily hurt someone else acting dumb.....sorry for my rant..... i have my girlfriend and a young child in the boat with me sometimes, just what i want some idiot crashing into me while im driving around minding my own business killing someone

Well now he knows not to do that next time he comes across this situation. As for me I always slow down. I always get a bad feeling when I'm going faster than I should be going. Guess what I do? SLOW DOWN!!!, When wind is blow too much. DOWN GO!!! ,Lightning STAY OFF THE WATER!!!, just an idea.
