When will you be able to get stripers on the shore in the mornings?

On the Oklahoma side or any side for that matter Jon Hoppis is the man this time of year. Went with him for the second time in two months on 2/18. 40+ mph wind gust and he still got us a limit and we threw back lots of overs. I would have never expected to catch fish in conditions like that. He is yet to fall short on catching a limit this year. 40+ trips and not one without a limit of fish. Can't be better than that!

JW, varies year to year but usually April/May. Key is when the shad are spawning on the rocks the striper come in to get em.

Ive got a guided trip booked with Dan Barnett on March 6th. I don't really know what to expect. I hope we catch some. Does anyone know if that is a good time to go? Sure it is, almost anytime is good with a good guide though. I think March is usually when the fish start back towards the main lake.
