LOL! I say leave the politics at home and let's go fishin! lol! Talking about fishin', is it possible for bank fishermen to make a dent on a school of sandbass/hybrids? I say IMPOSSIBLE, regardless how many anglers are lining up the bank. The school will move on either on their own to roundup another school of shad, or people spook them away,... Btw, I call this a "bank roundup", our equivalent of the "boat show". The boat-show definitely catch more fish than a bank roundup, they can catch 100's of fish within 30 min time, bankers don't come even close to that. I think the key is to catch the school fish as quickly as you can when they come shallow, that means one pole in your hand, cast, set and reel in the fish, repeat... That's my .02c
The pursuit (where are the fish), rigs design and setup, scouting, the awesome feeling of casting your rigs 100+ yards out, the total focus on the fish and the elements, the outdoors... the total exhaustion at the end of your fishing day,... the cooler full of fish to bring home... Yeah, I'm going to miss bank fishing!

lol! Nope, not Barnes Bridge Rd, actually I don't know where BBR is. LOL! The place I mentioned, wasn't that bad last year, but it is crazy crowded now. because of that I changed the description a little, but if you have been there lately, you'd know it from my description...

Since they are in a community pond, only one pole allowed. But not for lakes and creeks. community pond Gear restrictions Fishing is by pole and line only. Anglers may use no more than two poles while fishing. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/action/fishregs2.php?water=cfl0
