Very nice catches. All 3 would have beat the lake record. Unfortunately their genetic string will not produce any this year to help populate Belton. Heard they met the knife. That sucks big time

Unfortunately the fish did meet the knife and against my best arguement we are all from Fredericksburg. What a shame to not let these fish go to produce or get larger. We were in a pontoon boat using what we call stick floats (jug line)and single hooks The day action was horrible but at night fantastic none of the multiple fish caught had eggs which I found strange. I do have pictures but do not know how to post if you e-mail me at cwbraker@yahoo.com i will send the pictures so someone can post them. The big blue was 10 inches across the eyes 32 inches around and 63 inches long I'm 5'11" and in a picture you can see the size and girth of these fish.

Perfect example, if the slot were in place similar to Waco at least 2 of them would have survived.

True. There is a rod n reel, fly, bowfish, junior, and all tackle I believe. That way you'll know if a real fisherman caught it.

Feast ..... Buts its ok i catch photograph realase every time i go out. but its the fishermans choice if he wants to realase them or take him home and shouldnt put down because he chose to take them home and feed his family and freinds but oh well theres more than one fish in the lake and i support cpr and practice it but when i hear some one caught a big one and ate it i dont belittle him congraulate him for his time and effort just my .02 but tightlines and good luck

Perfect example, if the slot were in place similar to Waco at least 2 of them would have survived. not quite true i believe. each person is allowed to keep one over 45 inches per day. but if the juglines were in one persons name and legally tagged, only that person could keep an over theoretically.

Wow really? lol I mean three lake records and you're gonna give me the sad feed my family bs song? Thats 210 lbs dude. I mean keepin one 20 or 30lber would be one thing from jug fishin. I wouldn't personally but 3 60lb+ fish in one outing, that's alot of babies that won't be put into that lake. But f it right? Why waste the time tryin to catch 50 3-5lbers when you can go fish someone else's lake and set 5 jugs and come home with 4 40lbers. whoo-eee check out these fish i worked my [censored] off for! Cry to someone else dude
