I would love to do that. I want to take you out this fall when the grass has had some time to take off; if the lake ever stops falling to give it a chance to grow. There are some places that I won tournaments on in 98 to 2003 when it was at its lowest that you need to know about for your customers.

They weren't buddies just 2 guys talking but like I said the park ranger guy might have been talking out of his rear. Hope you're right though, sure does stink for him if he has to make the drive back to Diablo while living in Box Canyon.
Why would you guys make that horrible walk, surely there's almost always someone you can catch a ride with to the top of the hill at Diablo. Heck I might need to start a taxi service that offers rides to the top. It sure is a llloooonnnnngggggggggggg walk in the summer heat!

I will invest in that service. We also need a ice chest full of water and Ham Samitches.

Anglers Lodge is the best place to stay. U don't have to worry about anyone jacking with ur rig and Carl has been putting some quality time on the water therefore will give a great fishing report. Where else can u go and place an order for just about any custom plastic bait in the color scheme u need. Plus get watch him pour them for u. Can't get that kind of service anywhere. And Trust Me his baits work.

Grout-scout, believe me if I can catch a ride I will, but yeah it seams either no one is ready to drive up, or on the weekends the tourny guys are here and it is hectic so i will usually start walking and if they offer fine but if not no worries. I have inquired a couple of times in the past if i could but a pretty young lady in a golf cart and let her run people up for tips. I know it would be worth the money to me.
oh and anybody planning on running the main lake, take precaution from spur 454 to 277, lots of points are just below the surface it was calm today so they were pretty visiable but if the wind picks up it could get nasty for those not familiar with the lake.
Respectfully,
Jc Gwynne

What's working: A case of fruit jars with sand and a fire stick trailer. "You going to sit there and hold that thing, or are you going to fish?"
