Joe is so right about Gator Bay. I owned a Sea Hunt and loved the ride. Never looked back at my bass boat. I decided to go bigger this spring and have decided after lots of research and pacing the floor to go with a Gator Bay. I made the drive to Shreveport to meet Leroy and Lorainne and they were great. Remind me so much of my grandparents when they were alive and owned a boat repair business. They truly build your boat to meet your needs. I think the wait on the build will be well worth it. I have been in Joes boat numerous times and the ride is amazing. For a boat to be used everyday and still be in that great of shape said a lot to me. JM.02

Todd I am waiting right now for the new owner of my boat to come and get it. Yes the Grady White was a real steal even with the 300 Merc on it, just pay off note and they lost all the equity under $10k total, it was loaded but a good friend got it, it was meant to be, so I am in square 1 now looking for a CLEAN USED CC! It will show up sooner or later. Yes your invited anytime.

Cool write up Terry and great pictures! Your right times change and so do the priorities. Aaron made the same decision last year as you know. Follow your heart and you can't go wrong. I'm with you on that gator bay , I had been looking for a new boat for 2 years and gator was on the top of my list , unfortunately I could not afford their lined boat so I had to look at other manufactures such as sea hunt , sea fox and nautic star and wound up with the sea fox , I wish I had purchased the 2012 instead of the 2013 because of all the defects in the liner, I have had my boat since September 2012 and boat is not fixed.

Hello back to you luv to fish. The boat I have is a ShearWater 23 TE (same people that make Gambler Bass Boats). If I could figure out how to post a photo, link provided above of boat on way back from Florida. I looked at all the others that have been mentioned on this thread and then some. I've made trips to the coast to run or fish out of multiple brands and the ShearWater was the one I enjoyed most. I too owned a 70mph bass rig and understand the want for performance. My ShearWater will run 63mph (gps) loaded with 70 gal of fuel, 2 men and loaded with tackle. The fit and finish on this boat is second to none. I purchased mine from Fish'n'World (Key Pucket, owner) and had it built to my needs. After it was all said and done, the cost was comparable to the other brands.
