LadiesMan got his critter gitter back in action..at the boat show today.. Pics to prove he's back Go dad Go! Just got a slight FEVER for that CC Boat that I've been shaking off for a while now... I love my 203 Champion bass boat but times are a changing... As some of you know I had my first child about 6 months ago and since then my mind has been racing...along with the fact that dad was pushing me to begin with on that center console...as I made the Champion purchase 4years ago (u were right dad) Just think it might be time to talk myself into the plunge!!! I like the Skeeter, Sea Fox and Sea Hunt boats ..22ft ers... But there was something about the Blue Wave that caught my eye.. In the price range, had the look, etc.. Not sold just yet on it or for that matter any of them...(YET). It did have the 4 stroke mercury 150.. And custom trailer..

My wife and I went last week. I am making the transition back to a CC, I don't know what possessed me to buy a pontoon, I think the devil made me do it! I am really liking the Sea Hunt and Sea Fox.

I just went through that myself man. Had a bass boat and loved it but should have really gotten the center console from the get go. I have a 7 year old boy and he kept "falling" off the bass boat (really, jumping in but momma didn't think it was funny). Ended up selling the Skeeter and getting a Sea Hunt.

Make sure you do a good lake trial man. I wanted a 24' so my top boats were the Sea Fox, Blue Wave, Sea Hunt and Tidewater. Could have gone to Houston to buy a boat but wanted a local dealer just in case I needed warranty work. Lake tested all of them and the Sea Hunt won. Was out yesterday in 30mph winds and caught fish and never felt worried.

Dude that is awesome!!! I made the transition from bassboat to CC 2 years ago and never regretted it. Nautic Star now offers 2 captains chairs that swivel instead of the bench seat at the console. That would be deadly for Ray, he could swivel the seat out put his feet up on the gunnel and fish. Wait a minute he already catches all the BIG fish now, forget that I mentioned that. LOL.

Well add me to the list! My bass boat may have sold today, I am looking at a Nautic Star with a Honda 4 stroke. I believe Terry and I saw you at the show looking at that boat. This thread really hits home, everyone I have discussed this with has done the same thing in getting the CC. I found one but told a friend about it, he bought it and I got the bass boat. That 24' Grady White he bought is an awesome boat with a 300 Merc on it...

I met Get the net69 from the forum yesterday at the ramp, and he had a beautiful cc he and his son were about to go out in. It was a different brand than all the ones that have been named, but I really liked it. Maybe he'll see this and tell us that brand!

I looked at all the boats hard nd feel the seafox is the best deal at the show.

It was sure a hard decision, if my bass boat sells this week it will really be hard. I am looking at a demo Nautic Star. If all goes well and I like the test ride I may be fishing another boat next weekend, I have 2 to look at..

Definitely a lot of decisions to be made.. So many different options on each and every boat that's out there! Thanks for all the feedback so far. First thing first is to try to part ways with the boat I have now..(08'203Champion 08'yamaha250hpdi)I'm sure there's a deal breaker to be made sometime soon out there! One good thing is that I've been in a lot of different CC boats which will help out on a pick..

I like the CC Champions that Ive seen also.So many choices One of these days I'll move up to a big boy boat to!
