$1079 includes room, meals, guide, transfer to and from the airport, and all drinks. You will need to provide tackle, airfare and tips. You can rent rods and reels if you don't want to bring your own but I would suggest bringing your own. If you can catch an airfare deal you can do it all for $2000 or just under.

Thanks Lville.

Onefish bill..... The Angler's Inn which also comes highly recommended is significantly more at $1890 a person. That is for three (and a half if you get there early) days of fishing and four nights.

The flights I've found are not cheap. You can find some for $600 if you don't mind a stop or $1000 for the direct.

I have a jumbo airliner for rods so I think the only other expense will be tip money.

Jackson

What airline are you finding for $600?

There were actually two.

The one for $585 was a US Air out of Dallas that had a 59 minute layover in Mexico City. It left at 8:05 and got to Mazatlan at 1:00. Of course, I think that is 2 time zones away but I'm not sure.

The other one was American and you went to Phoenix. Then you took a US Air into Mazatlan and it was $10 or so more.

I don't like the thought of changing planes with the big rod holder. While it might be fine, that thing is such a hassle for them to transport. Both trips might change planes. Not really sure.

Jackson

P.S. Getting a lot of good info PMed to me. Thanks fellas!

AA has direct flights from DFW to MZT.

I just checked and found round trip for around $580. This was for the first week of July and not sure if that has any bearing on pricing.

When do you plan on going?

That report was awesome. I wouldn't mind the trays of margaritas and Mexican food. Catching that many nice fish is just a bonus. Thanks for the link.

Wayne.... I got your fliers in the mail. Thank you sir. We should be making a call before too long.

Best,
Jackson

Just as an fyi, you have to clear through immigration in Mexico City and you won't make a 59 minute turn. And Mzt is just an hour earlier.

I'm planning on using Anglers inn when I get the chance do go down. I've found out you get what you pay for more and more often.

I'd love to take a trip like this, but it is difficult finding others who will spend the money. Nobody in my group of guys is willing to spend that much cash.

I would go with Ron Speed Adventures. I have fished with Ron for ten years now. He is on the lake also.
Always a great trip.
