Looking to take a trip to El Salto this summer. I want the nicest place available that is on the lake. I'd rather spend more money and stay in the best place, with better boats, good guides, etc.

Any suggestions you have are appreciated!

Jackson

Based on your criteria Anglers Inn is the place to be.

July is an absolute great month to fish El Salto. Top water bite is off the charts. Expect 100+ fish days!

^^^^ His lodge isn't water front.

I've been to both. For water front and nice accommodations Angler Inn is the spot.

For great trip, nice accommodations and best bang for your buck El Salto lodge is the answer.

Rock.... You need to get off the pot and c'mon. Nick Fowlkes is coming too. I've got another couple that are tentative.

Hoffman.... Dana told me she was sick of looking at you. Let's do this.

I've spoken to Wayne on here about El Salto Lodge. From what you guys have told me, it isn't quite as nice and a bit of a hassle because you aren't on the lake. I think Nick and I are leaning toward the Angler's Inn.

Thanks for all of the input guys.

Check this video above if you get a sec. It looks like a blast.

Lets get the cost together and I might be in... My biggest concern is safety more than anything...

I book the best lodge there with the best guides and boats.
Go to Jim Beresford outdoors in my signature and book your trip. Jim lives in Argyle. You want meet a better guy. I do the drive in trips as you already know and Jim does the fly ins. Be sure to mention my name for your TFF discount.
Oviachic is the only place I can drive in and catch a ton of Bass and the trip be half price for everyone and the accommodations are better plus you get to fish out of a 20 ft. Skeeter. Keep in mind that I only charge expenses. I can take 2 fisherman down for 5 or 6 days of fishing for $3,000.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

I am sure the safety issue is taken care of by the lodge, they make their livelihood on making safe travel to and from their location.

I would be interested as well!

Call Steve Alexander at Private Water Fishing. He is taking a group in early March. They have been several times and know the terrain.

Thanks to everyone for the advice.

Thanks Ken... I'll be seeing Steve in a few days and I'll pick his brain for some info.

Doing all of this research has gotten me all pumped up. I'm thinking Welsh tomorrow if this darn wind will lie down.

www.mexicobasstours.com give C Wayne Nolan a call. He will get you set up at EL Salto Lodge. They fish out of tracker and other aluminum bass boats. I've taken several trips to Mexico and this place by far was the best.
