The last time I fished Silver Lake Marina they didn't charge bc the ramp was under construction. It was still easy to launch the kayak from. But, it's on the other side of the lake from TC.

I've launched at the marina at the bank. Be carefull very steep above and below water in there. Ill be at twin, might as well pay the piper its better then most lakes. Fished the dam this afternoon. Threw basically only a jig and would beat the banks and didn't fish as deep as I should of . So I blame myself for it being slow. Though I got this Kitty who fought like an s.ob. someone teach me deep tactics tomorrow!

I'm supposed to be helping sink Christmas trees at Scott's landing at 9, I might just take the kayak and head out from there afterwards. Maybe.

Hey everyone I just checked the temperature and it not near as low as what they had forecast. It's 37 here at Ray Roberts right now and I'm sure it's a little warmer down there at the Vine.  That's a LOT better then I had previously stated. I guess the clouds hung around last night and kept the temps from getting to bad.  I'm up and sipping on my coffee. I'll see y'all in a few.
