Dang thats a beautiful fish!...Looks like all the those Austin area toads, great color!!! Something to be said for those river system lake fish!!!

I think if you cut the fish in half you can count the rings to distinguish the age. [Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not how it works.

If I could figure out how to post pics I have a few from this year as well. I figure if we all do it we will have the lake dead in a few weeks just like falcon LOL

Seriously though its a great lake to fish but dont come expecting massive areas to work its a small body of water.

First lake I found close to Austin w/lilly pads...I dig me some Dunlap...

the markings/color on the fish make it look like a monster Spotted (Kentucky) bass

Probably a guadalupe/LMB hybrid of some sort. It is the Guadalupe river after all.

A Norman dd 20 cranbait fishing the channel about a quarter of a mile away from the launch under the bridge.

Wonderful,there goes my quiet pay ramp. Another (quiet) quality lake that will be flooded with people of high hopes. I'll give it a couple of months when a majority of them can't "find" the bite or "pattern".
