the old beaver timber is in about a foot of water. the main lake brush had zero fish last weekend.

there are a few drops and creek channels but it has primarily been a shallow shoreline lake. february march and april used to be excellent shallow fishing.

i know everybody says lack of grass kills fishing, but imo that lake would need it worse than any other i've been on. i would think grass would grow like crazy with how flat that lake is, it should be everywhere. have they sprayed or overstocked carp like they seem to do most other lakes?

if there was lots of grass it would be a fun little lake.

There used to be a good amount of Hydrilla and Milfoil. I am not sure what happened to it just heard rumors of a spraying taking place.

The city of canton killed all the grass. They were getting to many complaints from people wanting to swim and fish off the bank.

Can you still launch a boat there? Or is the water too low?

Boy, it was good when the grass WAS there.

I know people like hearing how it used to be.

And greedily devour the treacherous bait.
