Bump for txwhitetail to fill us in on the other americans that have been shot on the lake.

Went twice this year and I'm from del rio. Don't be stupid, be aware of your surroundings. With the water down its hard to get out of sight were [censored] could happen! The second time I went the Coast Guard was everywhere. Most likely tho only ones gonna get mad at you are the little old men after you cut their nets out of you trolling motor, they are everywhere. But don't worry there boats only run about 15 mph and they just cuss you in Spanish. Bottom line, be smart, have a plan and if able have 2 boats and fish together!

Still waiting for the numbers whitetail. Tell us about all of the Americans that have been shot on the lake.

There is no more documented incidents. Only a guy and his grandson took on some rounds from federallys. All worked out there. There have been no other documented or even rumored shootings........



Now maybe some suicides after the fishermen returned home with less than stellar results.... Lol Kidding..... 100%

Yes give us the numbers, with solid proof to back them up.

Thinking outloud: *Has a single US fisherman's death been confirmed? *Are peoples lives so uneventful that they fabricate danger and excitment into them? *For those stating "I am tired of reading about..."-Why are you reading about this? *Lure-Chunker: when someone states they miss the old days when people were getting shot-look up humor in the dictionary. *I also miss the "old days" when I could fish up an arm on the mexican side and sometimes not see another fisherman all afternoon. *Yes the lake fishes "small"...because some of my favorite spots require I park my boat on shore and walk 1 1/2 miles to the dry land I used to fish. No rants-simply reflections.

Then you responded with this post --

That indicates a direct disagreement with the person's original post. That is why I asked you what other Americans had been shot on the lake, because you directly refuted the original post. So which other Americans have been shot on the lake ? You refuted his claim, give us the info to back up your claim.

Two sides to the story and the lake. There may only have been one shooting on the American side in those 58 years but there has been penty of shootings on the Mexican side during that time span.
