Big thanks to Yafee, Jimmy Boy, Plano Sooner, Mark and Frank! These guys all helped to bring the booth together. We had everything we needed. (I know I am leaving someone out.) The community turnout was mild. But that is okay we ironed out the wrinkles and are ready to hit a more public event. A highlight for me was meeting Bob Chilton, the pictures of fish Bob showed us of his deep sea fishing with a fly rod are crazy cool. Thanks JV for getting the banner. Several kids and some adults now have Moe's curly tails, thanks for the freebies Super Duck. Jeff's sandbass and hybrid in the ice chest was a great idea. It was also good to see Terry and Ray. Who am I leaving out?

What a pleasure to work with this great group of guys. Thanks to everyone for supporting a cause that is dear to all of us. Next setup will be even bigger and better. Look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday at the meeting and/or on the lake.

Blessings,

Jim

There was one earlier that wanted to hold the sandie so Terry pulled it out and told the boy to grab it in the mouth and the little boy said not in the mouth! Terry layed it back on the ice and the little boy grab it from the belly and squeezed out some poop on his hand. Should have seen the boys reaction...priceless!!

I knew I would forget something. Spoke to the TPWD officers Jaime and Mike I think it was, who had their boat and were set up next to us today in the parking lot. One of our guys (Jim?) made some awesome fliers from what Todd had written up. It was on a heavy bond material and measured 10-1/2 x 3-3/4. I took about eight of the fliers to the TPWD guys and explained what we were doing and how Jackson had worked with Austin (Texas not our Austin!) to get approval for our stocking program. So anyway the local TPWD now know who we are and what we are doing. We may need to get some stickers for our boats of our logo so they will know who we are if we ever get "stopped" by them on the lake!

IT WAS AMAZING TO ME TO SEE HOW A DIVERSE GROUP OF FISHERMEN BLENDED TOGETHER AND CAME UP WITH A PRODUCT LIKE THAT. IT WAS ALSO VERY REWARDING TO BE ABLE TO PUT THE FACES WITH THE NAMES I'VE BEEN READING. SORRY TO MISS THE NEXT MEETING (BIRD SHOOTING) BUT I HOPE TO SEE MORE OF YOU GUYS IN THE FUTURE.

Bob really enjoyed getting to meet and speak with you. Get some birds and we'll see you at a future event. Maybe at another breakfast at my dock!
