I have used 830 only two times. Second time, two women (yes, women) tried to break into my truck and couldn't, so they keyed the entire length of my driver side. A woman saw her while she was vandalizing my truck and yelled at her, causing her to run off.

If you go there, you are taking chances.

Be safe,

If you are coming from north use Stowaway. $10. The 830 ramp is free and its not worth it. Good chance for vandalism.

Thanks guys. Sounds like a good idea not to use 830 ramp. That's where i was going to go. I don't mind paying. LoL.

Well went out today from about 6:45 to 12:30 and was a little slow. only caught 3 bass. biggest 3 pounds and a 2.5 pounder. and one lil dink. Caught the 3 pounder on carolina rig in about 20 ft of water on old road bed. Early this morning I saw probably 50 small perch floating by the boat ramp and a few bass, they all looked alive just kinda sick looking on their sides, I tried scaring the bass off but just rolled back on its side. Wonder if the cold front messed these fish up somehow.

That's not good. We fight fish dying all the time. But our problem is golden algae. It hurts us. Sorry to hear that. Thank you for the info.
