The Ruidoso paper said Ski Run Road should be open by Thanksgiving. The road to Bonita is questionable, it might open to the campgrounds before the lake, but no telling when it will open up to the lake and past it. The last report I read said it maybe 5 years before the ash and mud sludge has settled. They were pumping the ash/mud sludge and hauling it away, I have no clue what is going on now.
