I put my fly or jig 18 inches up the line on a loop knot. Then I tie on the slab at the bottom. It really doesn't matter what fly or jig u tie on, they will eat it.
But usually, a streamer fly, clouser, or crappie jig in white or yellow.
I make my own slabs and powder paint them. They are the same slabs as MoesTackleshop.com. I don't sell them, I was just sick of loosing 2-3$ slabs. Now they only cost like 3 cents to make. Should call me. Can save ya some time and $$ Have great guide prices If u are chargeN $ 0.06 each I will take 10,000

Fished Lavon today before the storm at noon and ran into Carey at the ramp. So we waited it out and went back out at 2:30 or so and we found some fish at one of the road beds but they were just steady not like before the noon shower. Caught about 20 to 30 myself and no telling how many Carey caught. Carey cancled his afternoon trip and we both just fished beside each other and I enjoyed the company. Thanks for a good time and letting me fish next to you . See you next time on Lavon

Here is a pic of my rig. http://kimmyking.com/fishing/slides/fishing03.htmlI fish Lavon for white bass, Fork and Ray Roberts for Largemouth, Texoma for a mixed bag but mostly stripers. Also really enjoy flyfishing for bass and trout. The Lower Mountain Fork in SE OK is great for browns and rainbows. :-) Using two HDS8 displays with LSS2 down and sidescan really helps with finding and catching the white bass on Lavon. The anchor function of the I-Pilot Minn Kota trolling motor doesn't hurt either.
