For many, the Talon is an easier install without concern over hydraulics. As a Co angler, my opinion is selfish. Working off the rear deck, I can ask to lower the Power Pole, whereas the Talon I have to take as is.

First check to see if you have room in your boat for hydrolic pumps if you choose to go with power poles. There are advantages and disadvantages of both. Ive worked on both and both are very good products.

Power Poles. I dont like the looks of the Gutters (Talons). I also think Power Pole is far more innovative. They have the new drift paddles, the C Monster wireless controls, and the proven hydraulic holding power.

The Brain has been replaced on both of them. Lost a spike in the bottom of the lake and now 1 has jumped track inside so it needs to be sent back to be fixed because it is extremely loud going up and down.

I think, I should also get a jersey and a flat bill cap and wear it either sideways or backwards. Also, let's not forget the boat wrap.

Has anyone installed the new drift paddles yet? I was wondering how much drift control they actually provide.
