Occasionally she threatens to sell my gear. My biggest fear is that she would sell it for half of what I SAID I paid for it. OUCH! I feel you pain... I thought about listing all my gear with the price paid at the time and then suggesting a price to sell. Place the list in a sealed envlope with the description: "Open after my death. And please don't let the garage seller jew you down. These prices are suggested and are as low as you should go." Do you miss me?

Me and my sons go saltwater fishing once a year on vacation,..I just organized 3 tackleboxes with only saltwater stuff,..and wow,..how I have bought the same stuff every year,.and lots of it. This way I dont think I will ever have to buy anymore.

Academy had those baits that one the classic on sale for 1.88 and then 30% off of that yesterday. I think they are called otters. Those were $1.20, LFT baby ring fry, $1.20, Swimming Senkos, $1.40, hollow bodied swimbaits $1.20, Xcaliber square bills and trap style baits $2.00, and Cordell Super Spots $0.60...all cheap but somehow added up to another $70 in tackle. I made myself feel better knowing that is should have been over $200 at regular price. Jason

Yeah I buy something different everytime I go to tackle store and use the same thing everytime I go fishing. +1

For those with this affliction, tonight I came up with a great plan. HOW MANY HERE GET ACCUSED OF NOT SPENDING ENOUGH QUALITY TIME WITH THE WIFE? Go grocery shopping with her! Insist on going to Walmart. This way you can camouflage at $30 bucks a week by sliding some new line and KVD Hooks in the basket. This way your credit card doesn't get scrutinized so much and you get prepared for the following weekend on the low low! Great plan and she'll love you for helping her do the grocery shopping. Ah, togetherness, gotta love it!

Fishing lures are made to catch fishermen not fish. Most of them work pretty good. Greenhorns are like Bass. They would stay out of trouble it they would learn to keep their mouth shut!

Speaking of buying something everytime you're at the tackle store, lots of tournament registrations are held at tackle stores. For those of you that tournament fish, do you buy the "hot lure" right before the tournament?

Ok good so I'm not the only one...Glad to know it....was thinking about going to Fork on Tuesday....hmmmm when can I go pick some stuff up? You're def not the only one Chris.... I sit around and think about what kind of different bait I can throw or how I can modify the ones I have then I go buy stuff. Don't know how many times I have lost the sack of stuff I bought and have to go buy some more the night before my trip!

I don't buy something before fishing, but if I lose a lure it's gonna cost $50...
...'cuz I can't get out of Bass Pro or Academy for less.
