I went to the lake... was def amatuer hour. Saw a guy beach a 40 foot go fast boat into some rocks. Besides that fairly uneventful.... anyone have any good stories?

I saw a couple jet skis running wide open through the stumps at Gilmer whilst getting outfished by my 11 yr old daughter.

I enjoyed watching people cram their boats up on rocks (at our local island) when they beached their boat. They would hit the bank and gun it up on the rocks even more. CRUNCH!!

yeah !!!...not fishing related, but I awake last night to the sound of fireworks going off outside my house - the house across the way is shooting off medium size big boom rockets and with the wind blowing directly towards my house... all the debris is falling on my house !!! I yell out using the most polite foul language I could muster and within a minute my wife said someone is at the door - I go to the door and this dude starts by apologizing in a rude fashion, well I just woke up and was a bit fired up cause this clown is endangering my house and family so my tone is a bit elevated and before ya know it he's trying to make this out as it was my fault !!!...I'm thinking to myself, this jackwagon is discharging fireworks in Wylie where it's against the law in the first place and all the hot embers are landing on my roof potentially endangering my family and property not to mention all the paper and burnt out rockets everywhere and he's got the nerve to try and make it like I was the problem...crazy !!!

I saw a few trees on fire at ray hubbard. The fire was right next to hwy 30 near the Dalrock exit

I was running towards the old lake on the ville, going about 55 in the middle of the lake. I was a safe distance away from the 40 boats fishing for sandies. Im headed straight I see a boat coming at me head on, he is to the left of me . Then these guys shut down the boat to an idle and cut right in front of me. I have to shut down and turn left pretty hard. So I go by them, they shoot me the bird and yell at me. Both dudes were wearing confederate flag head covers and the one yelling at me looked like he chewed gravel for a living, I think he had two teeth in his head. They were both holding some keystones, but they were far from Keith stone. So I just look at them as Im trying to collect myself, I get back up on pad and these two guys are following me. It was a little rough and their 1942 trihull was destroying their kidneys. Anyway, it was awesome.

Not yesterday but, a week or so ago I saw some jackwagon take off up the ramp and dump his striper guide off the boat. Nearly killed the poor guy. LOL

FZ1 makes it a point to avoid highways,lakes,etc. on holidaze. Craziest thing I saw was a panhandler that walked up to me and my brother,after dinner,at Fuddruckers. He said,"I'm not gonna bs you guys I'm just looking for a couple of bucks,can you help me out?" FZ1,says sure,gives him 2 bucks,and the guy leaves. That's how I like my Holidaze. Safe and eventless.

I got on the water at 5 am and was off by 10 am, overall was uneventful until I was trying to trailer the boat. I had a lady driving a big deck boat back off her trailer and drift right over my trailer when I was coming in to put the boat up. She never saw me coming in until I had to slam in reverse and make a second run at putting the boat on a trailer. Also saw a guy almost sink his truck putting a jet ski in the water. He left the truck in reverse and tried to go forward. The joys of July 4th at a lake.
