Just remember how lucky you Texas guys are to have a wildlife department that actually knows what they are doing. Wisky isn't the only state with idiots running their wildlife.

I think on the last two days any pros who didn't make the cut should go catch a nice legal limit and cook their buts.
And i think BASS should NOT have another event their for a long time. They didn't have em in louisiana for a while after that one guy shot over some bodys boat bow. some of the guys that don't make the cut, may not even be able to go catcha a limit.

What the hell do TX. crybabies/whiners know about protecting the resource in Green Bay? I imagine from years of tried and true example set by tournament fishing here as well as throughout the country we know a fair bit. But then again your the expert with a differing opinion so please by all means Nostradaums inform us of what impending doom would have happened had they crossed the velvet rope and fished the whole lake.

What the hell do TX. crybabies/whiners know about protecting the resource in Green Bay? A lot, Chief. Data collected on several tournament-caught bass on 114,000-acre Sam Rayburn Reservoir adds more clout to Hopes home-body theory. It also firms up his belief that a bass is a bass, regardless of the size of the pond. The Sam Rayburn fish all 6- and 7-pounders were caught north of the State Highway 147 Bridge and taken 18 miles south to Twin Dikes Marina for weigh-in. Thats where Hope planted the transmitters and released the fish. Hope relocated his study fish a week later. Amazingly, all but one of them had made the 18-mile journey back home. They were positioned in the same areas where they were caught a week earlier. Source: http://www.flwoutdoors.com/fishing-articles/tech-tackle-reviews/143706/bass-that-go-beep/He's not the only one to use radio tracking to show the distances fish can travel, but the first that came to mind. And a Texan.
The only true intercontinental champion.

I ran tournaments in Minnesota for about 10 years. MN's DNR is very similar to WI's DNR. Bass are not the sport fish of choice up there and they have do very little to manage them. SO as a PR move to show they are doing someting they have really started to manage tournaments to prove their jobs are worth while!
