I have had no problems with the Mr. Crappie line ever. Good stuff in my books. Been using it since 2007

I agree! Everyone has a preference, that is why there are so many choices in tackle and accessories. I have used Mr. Crappie line for YEARS and never had a problem. It is very strong in comparison to same weight in other lines I have tried and I have tried MANY. I am a tackle sucker just like anyone else. rolfmao I always go back to Mr. Crappie after trying others. thumb I have as yet to try the new one, we will see how I like it. Love the old one, I have to pull and pull to break it off when I get hung up.

Never tried the Mr. Crappie line but I have been really impressed with Vicious Panfish line in 6# . Man I have caught some hawgs with that line and have gotten hung up and it is so strong durable to break off.

same here, been using it for a while and love it. Sometimes its too strong, but never had an issue with twists or anything

I'll give the new stuff a try when I run out

So the "new" line is in a box and not on an open spool?

What I found at Walmart was on a spool.

I'll see what Academy has this evening.

Thanks for the info everyone. smile
