Jay Great report and thanks for the heads up on the hazards. Just remember that your Ranger will not do 55 if the Power Poles are down.

The state park has about 3 more ft left. It will be very tough leaving the mouth though. That ditch is really narrow. County will be fine for a while as far as I can see at least

I'm not that familiar with the lake I know where the State park ramp is but is the County ramp the one in Veleno creek. I only see 2 ramps on the map for the whole lake, is that true or is my map that bad?

another question, should I plan on fishing on the Mexican side or just stick to the good old U.S.of A side. I also know the wind is a major factor when it blows does it tend to come from the West if it does I guess that would answer my question about fishing the Mexican side.

Great reports thanks. We were down there a few weeks ago
has an awesome deep bite on the DD22 Falcon Flash suspending
and chart sexy shad 3/4 oz hot lips.....

What is closest airport? How far from you. Laredo.....I can package an all inclusive deal together that includes airport pick-up if need be. Bring clothes and camera. Just let me know and I can make it happen. Jay
