Take the lock cylinders and rods out of you truck and just use the keyless. Thats what i did and it has stopped them so far, now they have to bust a window to get in and it is too loud.

it happened to me a few years ago in borad daylight at BPS Grapevine. I was told they usually have someone follow you in and watch you while the other person breaks in your truck. That way if you come right back out they can alert each other. Its good to pay attention to your surroundings and always watch for someone that might be following you.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.

Avalanche driver also--Theives took my wheels and tires and left the truck setting on blocks right in front of my house under a street light--Cost the insurance $4200.00.

You know, I didn't even think of that. This is genius because that is what they used, a lock punch.

Since I have to have the new door handle painted, I may look into it.

And I was told about the "spotter" technique where the one guys follows you and sends a text when you are heading to check out.

Thanks fellas. I'm off to pick up the truck now. They had to drill out the ignition cylinder to get it out.

At least I get to go to Falcon tomorrow, even though I'm probably a grand in the hole already.

P.S. A big fat bug eyed HAWG would make me forget all about it! banana

This is why I carry my chl. I'd rather deal with the cops. I hate thieves as my house was broken inTo 4 times. I shoot first ask questions second. Ask the wannabe thief in port Arthur in 08. Instead of getting my truck he got a ride to the hospital. I don't live within 4 hours of there and i still wanna drive up there and crack some punks skull. Sorry but a thief is the thing I hate most in this world. I have zero respect for one as a human being.

Since the city of Garland owns the lot and wont do anything to help, why will BPS not take it upon themselves to hire a full time security guard?? Think about how much business they loose weekly because of this problem. I dont know about you guys, but if I have my laptop or other valuables in my car, I will not stop. Think about what this post alone costs BPS in business!! Something needs to be done about these scumbags!!

About 5 years ago I was in another parking lot in Garland and saw a nogood holding up a couple of elderly ladies. I started sneaking up between the cars with my gun out when another guy came out of nowhere and jammed a gun in the middle of the thugs back hard enough he dropped his gun. The police were called they showed up 10-15 minutes. The one officer if you could call him that was more concerned with the fellow who jammed his gun in the guy's back and me handing over our weapons and showing ID than he was about the thug. Then he proceeded to chew us out for stopping a robbery. Garland Barney Fifeing at it's finest.

An LEO once told me they don't want a confrontation with theives. Can't say as I blame them but that is what they get paid for.
