The problem I see with putting one in Tyler is that its not near a major interstate....and I wouldn't see one on 259 anywhere up in the area of the movie theater / Target store for the same reason. I could see one down on the I-20 part of Longview or even west of Longview a tad..maybe there where 31 and 20 meet outside of Kilgore.

Having a store on a major interstate brings in X amount a traffic just from people driving by...not just your local clients. If you couple this with a big travel stop (restaurants/gas/hotel)...so much the better...what is the exit about 2 miles west of 31 and 20?? There's a gas station/convienence store/Wendy's and a big Bodacious BBQ. That would be a good spot also.

20 is close enough to tyler, somewhere on the loop in north tyler might be a good spot, also the old wal mart on troup hwy might be a concideration for it. Close enough to a major hwy, and close enough to two great lakes, tyler and palestine

They are putting some girly store in the old Wal-Mart building on Troup, I read what it was but have forgotten the name.

Possibly they could put one near Tyler on I-20 wherever the "new loop" is going to connect to it. But honestly I can't see putting one in Longview or Tyler.

Bass pro would be awesome but devastating to my wallet if it was 2 miles away.. Bring it on in to L town. I'm ready!

I also heard we are getting the next Disney World...supposedly we are halfway between LA and FL. I also heard about BPS a year or so ago. Longview is growing like wild fire. I wouldn't put it past them to have an "idea".

How many towns can you think of that have a dozen plus lakes within an hours drive? We have it made!

+1 on East Texas Sonar. They are Longviews last local tackle shop. Good people!! There keep adding new lines slowly but surely. If you want something mention to them...enough request and they might consider it. Robert does a heck of a job on Trolling Motors and Graphs!
