Don't know where it's supposedly going to be, IF indeed there will be one. Just heard it from a lady in south Texas and one of the contractors that we do work for.

The BPS store locator shows future stores in Tn and Co but nothign in Tx so if it is coming, it's still a long way off frown.

Academy aint so bad. At least they have that return policy.

tacklewarehouse is cheaper and you can get it overnighted if you need it immediately.

Tomorrow still isn't immediately lol. I'm an impulsive buyer which "saves" me money on fishing gear. What I might want right now I won't order on TW because I want it RIGHT NOW and since we have no BPS and Academy is overflowing with [censored] I already own, I just do without it.

If there is a BPS, they will probably have it and I'll buy it lmao.

I'm with you Killer. It is 40 minutes away just to Wal-Mart and an hour to Tyler is the next best option. Plus eveything in Tyler is on the other side of town which takes another 30 minutes. I ain't complaining though as it saves me some money.

Yep, the Marina's around Lake Fork have better gear than a lot of Tyler stores. I try to shop there if I'm going to be in the area, it costs a bit more than TW but it's there right now and it's mom and pops business's too.

Walmart in Kilgore is starting to get a better selection of rods than academy of Tyler. They "might" have 6 Lowriders, 1 Cara, 10 Bucoo (only like 2 lengths/weights though) and the rest will be el cheapo's. How about some Duckett's, Dobyns's, Loomis, anything other than the 50000000 All Star and CastAway rods that have been there since 2007. They have a decent selection of reels but you usually have to buy the display model because they will only have SX's, S's, Critica's, and the H2O reels in stock.

Yes, nice folks too, but they need to expand their product line more.

The dirt work behind the cinema is for the Hampton's - a retirement village.

Don't they always build directly on a body of water or at least very close? I think it would be awesome for Longview to get an Outdoor store but can't see one going in on Eastman unless it was way South by Ferguson Creek Res.
