this is a great thread by the way. I need more education on determining the Hybrids from the sandies on my side scan. I can do it well on sonar but the side scan is new to me.

Tawakoni Hybrids and stripers. I keep my sonar turned way down most of the time when looking for big fish. When you see fish on it the chances are they are hybrids or striper.

Bluewave, is ur khz set for deep water?? 200 and 800.

Looks to me like you either have your front graph on or fishing close to another boat with a graph. That's the only things that cause those vertical lines on mine.

Makes sense, the front graph would be causing interference...Thanks

My front graph doesn't seem to interfere w/ my transom mount graph. But the hummingbird old-school fish finder on the dash will cause those verical lines.

I run a SI on the console along with a 480 elite and a 480 Fishmark on the bow. If I don't turn the elite off, I will get interference on the fishmark on the bow. Likewise, I will usually get a little of this on the elite with the SI on.

I got some recent ones from Richland Chambers. As soon as I can get the chance I'll get those screen shots and post.
