I went out this past weekend on Conroe and was disappointed to not find bream bedded in my usual spots. Even fished hard in other areas with little luck. Is the bedding delayed with the drought from last year or am I missing something? Would like to hear from anyone who has been on Conroe the last few weeks. Thanks.

We have several super angerls who post reports from the Houston area. The last report I saw from Conroe they caught some super nice Gills. You should get a respond from one or more of em in the next day or so. I would try fishing by structure such as docks and trees. We are catching em in 3 to 6 feet of water here on San Antonio area lakes.

Reading some of the past reports from Conroe anglers were catching some super nice Bluegills. I have never fished that lake before but I am catching a few nice ones by Docks and structure on lakes where I have been fishing. Usually in 4 to 6 feet of water. The fish should be bunching up more as the spawn comes to an end.
