Come on out! It may be a little windy, but we should have protection near the cove.

For the newbies that are just getting in to kayaking, or for that matter thinking about getting in to kayaking this is a great opportunity. You can walk around and check out the different styles of kayaks and also see the different ways people have set them up.
Come on out to the get together check it out, and visit with us for the day. It's a fast growing sport for a reason!!!!!

Had a great time meeting a lot of you for the first time, trying out some new rides and just generally getting together with some great folks. Kudos to the folks who organized and pulled it off, despite some last minute changes and iffy weather! It was an honor to contribute to Heroes on the Water and witness the outpouring of affection for America's best.

Here's a link to the pix I took today... Honest, my wife actually took some of the Twin Peaks girl pix!!! smile

Awesome time guys! I really enjoyed meeting everyone and a big thanks to the organizers and guys with the demo boats. It was my first GTG and first time to pedel and paddle the Native, Hobie's and Jackson's. I might have to start collecting yaks like Jay Leno collects cars.
