 2012 Spring GTG Saturday, April 14th  When: 1st Date - Saturday April 14th 2012 .........2nd Date - Rain out/Bad weather date - To be determined Where: Grapevine Lake Park: Murrel Park Time: 8:AM - ?:PM Some of us will be coming & going all weekend. Murrel Park Contact Info: Murrel Park Link <--- Click here for camping information <--  What to bring: You, Your Yak (if you have one), PFD & Whistle, Lawn Chair, A smile & be ready to have a good time, Share a fish story/rigging ideas, Paddle some great NEW Yaks, Eat & Hangout with some nice folks.
Saturday April 14th, there will be: Music, Food, Drinks, a Contest or 2. The Newest line of kayaks from MARINER SAILS OF DALLAS & KAYAK INSTRUCTION INC. OF ROWLETT in the morning & afternoon. There will be fishing going on ALL WEEKEND as the weather allows. There will NOT be an organized Tournament this year. There WILL be a "Heroes" Donation Box. There is no real schedule of events. We will hang out & have fun, eat around noon & have some more fun as we normally do. This is a more relaxed Get ToGether to get to know one another, demo the newest line of 2012 Angler Kayaks, learn more about our group & this Fast Growing Addictive Sport! Crud!!! What happened to April 14th? I'm gonna be out of town  I was looking forward to meeting everyone!! I won't wish for rain on ya'all, but I'll be there if its the backup date.

Here is some information for those of you that want to camp out. You will need to reserve a camp spot but it's only $10 per night. When I check all but two spots were open on Friday the 30th. Click here for camping information

I have the same question. I took vacation the 14th to attend the event. Yeah, I'm out on the 31st. Working. The 14th would have been a yes.
