What kind of rig do you use when fishing with a pole and line? I have just been using a snelled hooked with an egg sinker, it seems to work well but I am always open to new ideas.

Santee rig. 2oz no roll, swivel, 24" of 50lb mono with a 3" crappie float 3" above a snelled 8/0 gama octo circle hook.
